Transparency

Our Policy is one of transoarency regarding our fees, income and expenditure.

We recognise that in areas of the community development it is offen a fact that those who might most benefit from our services might be least able to afford consultancy fees.

We also accept that the process of engaging consultants might be totally alien to many of those that we seek to help.

We know that 'knowledge is power' and that like wealth it is not necessarily available where it is needed.

Therefore we are committed to an equitable approach to the distribution of knowlaege and empowerment.

Our approach to the co-operative application of donations received as legacies.
Gifts received as legacies will be invested into a capital fund or property in order to retain their benefit as long as possible. The fund might help finance community charitable operations, including the development of asset transfers or provide premises for Co-operatives.
Interest and rents receipts are used to support our Co-operatives in order to reduce poverty though the creation of employment. The support is delivered throughout the UK and will involve the engagement of Co-operatives Development Bodies as appropriate. Income not required for these activities will be reinvested to sustain the capital fund.
