The benefits of people striving together in order to achieve shared goals cannot be overstated.
People do value resources over which they have real control, and will take pride in their communities if the conditions are correct. We develop strategies to generate the correct conditions for community empowerment. Co-operative Games, Co-operative Education and Team Building.
We can claim special expertise in applying co-operative games as it was our CEO Geoff Wade who introduced their theory and practice to the co-operative Movement in the UK in the 1970’s.
Co-operative behaviour is very important to community empowerment and to the success of co-operative structures
Organisational Design and Registration.
After a full examination of your needs, we will suggest the appropriate legal structure/s to achieve your goals.
In carrying out this exercise we take full account of empowerment needs as well as the security of any assets that you may wish to protect.
We work with Co-operatives UK Ltd to process registrations. If your registration costs are not covered by a Contractual Grant, we will not charge you our fees for processing applications. Therefore you would only pay the same as if you had approached them direct.
Strategy and Sustainability.
Whilst community empowerment is a worthy goal, full consideration needs to be given as to what is to be achieved, how it will be supported and sustained.
Successful outcomes are very important, not least to the people that you are attempting to support.
We will apply our experience and expertise towards designing successful projects.
Importantly, we also give consideration to sustainability, aiming for ongoing benefits. We will also advise on the protection of capital assets employed in community empowerment.
