Community Empowerment Ltd are members of Co-operatives UK Ltd (the federal body for Co-operative organisations in the UK).

We work through them in registering new cooperatives & mutuals.

They have announced a reduction in their charges for approved model rules. However they no longer offer discounts to Development Bodies (such as ourselves).

Nevertheless, we have determined to pass the full reduction to you. You will not pay any extra for processing registrations through us and may gain from any appropriate contractual grants that we manage!

What is Supporters Direct? 

SD provides advice to trusts on how to organise and acquire a collective shareholding in their clubs on a not-for-profit basis for re-investment. Our role is to secure greater level of accountability and deliver democratic representation within football clubs and within the games governing structures. 
We deliver advice and guidance on governance and financial accountability to our members and to ensure they play a valued and responsible role in the running of their clubs, improving communication and building a better relationship with the local community.

We raise money primarily by public share issue, and we lend it for social purpose and collective benefit. We also manage loan funds for several other organisations providing co-operative and community finance. The Co-operative Enterprise Hub

providing advice and training for maintaining a sustainable co-operative business

The Co-operative Enterprise hub runs a programme to provide support to other co-operatives across the UK. The Advice and Training programme enables new and existing co-operatives to receive expert support to develop as successful co-operative businesses.

The programme is delivered at a regional level through co-operative consortia of
Co-operative Development Bodies and other partners.
The aim of the programme is to provide a range of expertise for emerging and developing co operatives. Co-ops can apply to receive up to four days of support, which could include business planning, feasibility studies or legal and governance advice. It might be sector specific advice in fields such as community services, credit unions or retail.
